CHRISTIAN FRIEDRICH ACHSEL
I have chosen to use the surname ACHSEL in this page title as this is the original spelling of the surname. (Descendants of Christian assumed the spelling AXSEL or AXEL).
Born in about 1822 in Prussia, he was married to Johanne Maria Magdalena VOPPMANN and left Prussia aboard the Peter Godeffroy departing from Hamburg.
